Today, June 23, 2026, the Republican Center for the Management of Telecommunication Networks of Uzbekistan and the Cybersecurity Center signed an important cooperation agreement.

The document provides for the development of interaction across several key areas.
First and foremost, the parties will join forces in identifying and analyzing current cyber threats, as well as improving mechanisms for a rapid response to incidents within the telecommunications infrastructure. Now, the two agencies will exchange information regarding identified cyber incidents and current threats.
What does this mean for Uzbekistan's IT sector?
"This initiative is aimed at protecting and ensuring the security of digital services and IT solutions of the Telecommunication Networks Management Center. Our agencies will work together in this direction. Additionally, we plan to regularly conduct practical trainings and seminars to prepare strong cybersecurity experts in order to further develop the sector's human resource potential,"
